
Well I finally managed to Ride Mike\Keith’s Local Downhill track and it’s pretty good.
This was the second outing for the Highline; the trail was more in keeping with the frame\build. I did one run to check things out; it was obvious I couldn’t just role everything!! This is probably a good thing, because it made me take on the jumps.
I sectioned the top half (couldn’t be arsed riding up and down, it was too hot!), the trail was a bit damp and muddy which kind of put me off a bit, but I was very happy with the stuff I rode. I’m still getting used to the Highline, also reckon it’s time to get that skills book out, i was dropping the front end off the jumps.
Mike was trying out an Intense 951 to see if he could use it for general riding, but it was clear that it’s a DH rig and a bloody fast one at that!!
If you look at the photo, in the distance you can see a log that goes from left to right, that was the top of the drop!!
